The Leander Classic High Chair is ergonomically designed to grow with your child from baby to adult, simply by adjusting the seat and footrest. 

Leander High Chair is as practical as it’s beautiful. It can be used with or without a safety bar depending on the child’s age and ability. Include your child at the table with the rest of the family and enjoy each other’s company.

The high chair is made from European beech wood and is easy to clean with a damp cloth. The cushions are machine washable.

The Leander Classic High Chair is cleverly designed to let your child sit at the right height at the table no matter how big or small he/she is. The chair simply “grows” with your child by adjusting the seat and footrest to suit the current height. The back rest can also be adjusted to maintain good support.

Your baby will need a safety bar at the beginning to sit safely on the chair. The safety bar has two settings. Use the outer setting for getting your baby in or out and the inner for ensuring a snug fit. The “skirts” on the safety bar are an extra measure to prevent your child from twisting their legs to get them up under the bar. ‘

When the safety bar fits snugly across your child’s hips there is no need for a harness. By not using a harness your child feels more free and should he/she choke, you can immediately bend him/her forwards to help releasing the blockage. (If you wish to get a harness anyway, it is available as an accessory)

At about 2 1/2 years old, you can remove the safety bar and you will continue to adjust the seat and foot rest until one day, the larger foot rest becomes the seat and the Leander Chair is like an adult’s chair! (Holds up to 125kg)

The legs of the chair are designed to be slightly springy so when you child moves in the chair, it will gently respond. This makes sitting still more fun. The flex also makes the Leander Chair very comfortable for adults. Just lean back and feel how the chair adjusts to you. Such a nice feeling compared to the static chairs we are used to.

Your baby will start using at approximately 6 months old and it will still be in use when he/she is fully grown up – at the desk or the piano.
