Lummi in Colour Baby Beanie
Lummi in Colour Baby Beanie

SAME-DAY DISPATCH ON ORDERS PLACED BEFORE 12 PM MON–FRI*
Newborn heads lose heat faster than anything else, which is why the hospital puts a beanie on them in the first ten minutes. The Lummi in Colour Baby Beanie is the one you will actually want in the photos.
Five colourways across three fabrics — smooth organic cotton, textured organic waffle, and soft bamboo. All of them stretch gently, sit without a tight band mark, and wash without going out of shape.
Pair with a matching Growsuit or Romper in the same print. Browse more babywear.
Features
- Three fabrics. Organic cotton jersey, organic cotton waffle, and bamboo — all soft enough for day-one skin.

- Sizes from newborn. XXS starts at 0–3 months, and the range runs to 12 months.
- Machine washable. Holds its shape and colour through the washing that newborn life demands.
- Matches the range. Same colourways as the Lummi growsuits and rompers, so you can pair them up.

Why parents love the Lummi beanies
The band is the thing. Most newborn beanies either slide straight off or leave a red line across the forehead, and there is not much in between. These sit somewhere sensible, which means they stay on through a pram walk without anyone fussing.
They also come in the same prints as the growsuits, which matters more than it should when you are taking the going-home photo.

FAQs
Which size do I need?
XXS covers 0–3 months and suits most newborns. XS is 3–6 months, S is 6–12 months. The Kangaroo & Koala bamboo beanie comes in one newborn size covering 0–4 months.
What is the difference between the fabrics?
Jersey is smooth and light, waffle has a textured weave with a bit more substance, and bamboo is the softest and most breathable of the three.
Can my baby sleep in it?
No. Take hats off before sleep. Babies shed heat through their heads, and a beanie can slip down over the face.
Will it leave a mark on their forehead?
It shouldn't. The band is designed to stretch gently rather than grip, which is the main complaint with newborn beanies.
Do the colours match the growsuits?
Yes. Heather Pink, Heather Oat, Dusk Blue, Sage Green and Kangaroo & Koala all appear across the Lummi growsuits and rompers.
