Build a Nursery With the Essentials

A cot and mattress package gives you the key pieces for your baby’s sleep space in one go, with matching dressers and storage available to complete the nursery.

Choosing a package means you can select the cot and mattress together, rather than working out which pieces to pair separately. It also gives you a coordinated starting point, making it easier to build the rest of the room around pieces that already work well together.

What’s Included in a Cot and Mattress Package?

A cot and mattress package includes both a cot and a mattress, while some packages add extra nursery furniture such as a dresser, change unit or storage. The exact combination varies between sets, so it’s worth checking what comes with each package before choosing yours.

Why Choose a Nursery Furniture Package?

A nursery package can make planning the room straightforward, while giving you practical pieces you’ll use every day. Here’s what makes a cot and mattress package a useful choice:

- Less time choosing individual pieces

The cot and mattress are included in the package, so you can focus on finding the style, size and features that suit your nursery.

- A coordinated look for your nursery

Matching furniture gives you a clear starting point for the room, whether you keep things simple or add a dresser and extra storage.

- Practical for everyday routines

A dresser or change unit can keep nappies, clothes and other baby essentials close by, while fitted cot sheets give you easy bedding options for the cot. If you’re working with a smaller space, the Boori Natty Compact Cot and matching Boori mattress have a smaller footprint, giving you more room for other nursery essentials.

- Built for the years ahead

Many cots are designed for long-term use, with some converting as your child grows. This can give you more flexibility as their needs change, allowing the same piece of furniture to remain part of the nursery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does a nursery package include the mattress?

Yes. The packages in this collection include different combinations of nursery furniture. A cot and mattress package includes both pieces, while larger sets may also include a dresser, change unit or additional storage, or sheets, depending on the package.

---

Can I customise what’s in the package?

Each package comes with its own pre-selected combination of nursery furniture. You can purchase additional pieces separately to add to your setup and create a room that works for your space and family.

---

What’s the difference between a cot package and a full nursery package?

A cot and mattress package focuses on both pieces, while a full nursery package brings together a broader selection of furniture in a single set. Depending on the package, this can include pieces such as a dresser, change unit or additional storage, giving you more of the nursery furniture in one go.

---

Are these packages cheaper than buying them separately?

Each package is priced individually, so the value can vary depending on the furniture included. You can compare the package price with the cost of buying the same pieces separately to see which option best fits your nursery and budget.

---

Do the cots meet Australian safety standards?

Many of the cots in the collection comply with the AS/NZ 8811.1:2013 standard, which means they have been tested to ensure the mattress firmness meets the requirements for a baby’s sleep surface. You can check the product details of each cot for more details.
