Description

The Leander Junior Bed Safety Guard is a practical and beautiful addition to the Leander Junior Bed, providing a protective rail to prevent falls as your child makes the transition from cot to junior bed.

Made from European beech plywood to match the cot exactly, the guard replaces one of the lengths that connects the two ends — simple to install with existing hardware. Pairs with the Leander Junior Bed Extension Kit (sold separately) for a complete, safe junior bed setup.

Features
  • Protective side rail to prevent falls from the junior bed
  • Made from European beech plywood — matches the Leander Classic Cot perfectly
  • Replaces one of the connecting lengths — easy to install with existing hardware
  • Available in colours to match the cot
  • Designed for use with the Leander Junior Bed Extension Kit

Why parents love the Leander Junior Bed Safety Guard

Parents love the Safety Guard for the confidence it gives when making the transition from cot to junior bed. Children who are newly out of a cot can be restless sleepers, and having a solid wooden rail — made from the same beech plywood as the rest of the bed — gives real peace of mind. It looks like part of the bed rather than an afterthought, and installation is simple using the existing hardware.

FAQs

Do I need the Junior Bed Extension Kit to use this?
Yes — the Safety Guard is designed to work alongside the Leander Junior Bed Extension Kit, which converts the Classic Cot into a junior bed.

Is one guard enough?
One guard protects one side of the bed — typically sufficient when the other side is placed against a wall.
