Description

Ten washers. That's the pitch, and if you've had a newborn you already understand why. They get used at every bath, after every feed, at most nappy changes and for every sticky hand — and they end up in the wash basket faster than you can run a load.

These are bamboo-derived viscose and cotton, so they're softer than standard terry against a face and they hold more water for their size. They also survive being washed constantly on hot, which cheap ones don't — they go hard and start shedding after a month.

Stone Grey is the warmer of the two colours, and they coordinate with the Little Bamboo hooded towels and wraps if you're building the set.

  • Ten washers in every pack

Why parents love the Little Bamboo Towelling Washers

Most washer packs come in threes, which sounds fine in the shop and runs out by Tuesday. Ten changes how you use them — you stop rationing, you stop rinsing one out to reuse it, and there's always a clean one in the nappy bag. The bamboo blend is the other half of it: a scratchy washer on a newborn's face gets a reaction every time, and these simply don't scratch. They're also the thing people forget to put on the registry, which makes them a quietly excellent gift.

FAQs

How many do you get?
Ten, all in Stone Grey.

Are bamboo washers better than cotton?
For a baby's face, yes — noticeably softer, and they hold more water. Plain cotton terry tends to stiffen over time; these keep their feel for much longer.

Can I wash them on hot?
Yes, they're built for it. Just skip the fabric softener — it coats the fibres and kills the absorbency.

Do I really need ten?
You'll use more than you expect. Most parents who start with three end up buying more within a fortnight.
