Description

The Love to Dream Sleep Suit Long Sleeve 2.5 TOG Cotton is a wearable blanket with legs — designed for mobile sleepers who have outgrown sleep bags but still need consistent warmth and a safe alternative to loose bedding. With convertible foot covers featuring heart-shaped grip pads and a two-way zip, it keeps babies and toddlers warm, safe, and steady on their feet from 6 months to 4 years.

Features
  • Wearable blanket with legs: Full leg coverage lets your baby move, stand, and cruise freely — no restriction from a traditional sleep bag, no risk from loose blankets.
  • 2.5 TOG rating: Ideal for room temperatures of 16–20°C — suited to cool autumn and winter nights without the extremes of a 3.5 TOG.
  • Convertible foot covers with grip pads: Fold-over foot covers with heart-shaped grip pads keep feet warm and provide traction on hard floors — folds back when not needed.
  • Long sleeves: Full arm coverage throughout the night for consistent warmth from shoulder to toe.
  • Two-way zip: Opens from top or bottom for easy dressing and nappy changes without fully removing the suit.
  • DreamStretch™ cotton fabric: Outer and sleeves 93% cotton, 7% elastane; lining and filling 100% cotton — soft, breathable, and stretchy for comfortable movement.
  • INPAA approved: Tested and approved by the Infant and Nursery Products Association of Australia for safe infant sleep.
  • Sizes 0–4: Sized by height — 0 (up to 84 cm), 1 (up to 92 cm), 2 (up to 100 cm), 3 (up to 108 cm), 4 (up to 115 cm) — suitable from 6 months to approximately 4 years.

Why parents love the Love to Dream Sleep Suit Long Sleeve 2.5 TOG Cotton

As babies become more mobile — pulling up, cruising the furniture, taking first steps — a traditional sleep bag starts to get in the way. The Sleep Suit solves this by splitting into two legs, giving your little one the freedom to move while still delivering the warmth and containment of a wearable blanket. The grip pads on the fold-over foot covers are a practical touch that parents appreciate: if your toddler gets up early and toddles around, they've got traction on floorboards or tiles. And for parents who've been through the blanket-kicking phase, the all-over coverage of a sleep suit is a genuine relief — warm all night, no matter how much they move.

FAQs

What's the difference between a sleep suit and a sleep bag?
A sleep bag is a wearable blanket without legs — great for babies who aren't yet mobile. A sleep suit has two separate legs, allowing mobile babies and toddlers to stand, cruise, and walk freely while still having the warmth and safety of a wearable blanket. The Sleep Suit is the natural progression from a sleep bag once your baby becomes more active.

How do I choose the right size?
Size by your child's height rather than age: Size 0 (up to 84 cm), Size 1 (up to 92 cm), Size 2 (up to 100 cm), Size 3 (up to 108 cm), Size 4 (up to 115 cm). If your child is between sizes, size up for more room to grow.

Is 2.5 TOG warm enough for winter?
A 2.5 TOG is designed for rooms at 16–20°C. For very cold rooms under 16°C, the 3.5 TOG Sleep Bag would provide more warmth. For mild rooms (20–24°C), a 1.0 TOG is more appropriate. Always check room temperature and dress your child in a light base layer underneath.

What are the grip pads for?
The heart-shaped grip pads on the fold-over foot covers provide traction on smooth or hard floors — useful for toddlers who get up early and move around before adults are awake. Fold back the foot cover when you don't need them, or snap them down when your child is on the move.

Is the Sleep Suit safe for toddlers who can climb out of the cot?
The Sleep Suit allows full leg movement so it doesn't restrict climbing the way a sleep bag can. This is intentional — it's designed for mobile children. If you're concerned about cot climbing, the Sleep Suit is appropriate once your child has transitioned to a toddler bed or floor-level sleeping arrangement.
