The Swan's smart motion sensor responds when your baby stirs, automatically starting a gentle swivel rocking motion to help resettle them before anyone is properly awake. Three rocking intensities, built-in lullabies and calming white noise let you tune the sleep environment to suit your baby, all from the included remote.

At the heart of it is Babyrest's trusted Safer Sleep technology: an INPAA approved mattress tested to the highest safety benchmarks, including firmness and CO₂ rebreathing. How does the smart motion sensor work?
The sensor detects when your baby stirs and automatically starts a gentle swivel rocking motion to help resettle them. You can choose from three rocking intensities to suit your baby.

Is the mattress safety certified?
Yes. It is INPAA approved and tested to Safer Sleep benchmarks including AS/NZS 8811.1:2013 for firmness and INPAA VAG-006 for CO₂ rebreathing. The Swan also meets the Consumer Goods (Infant Sleep Products) Standard 2024, ASTM F2194-22 and EN 1130:2019, and is RCM compliant.

How long can my baby use the Swan?
From newborn until baby reaches 9 kg or starts rolling, whichever comes first. Stop using the rocking function once baby can push up on hands and knees.

What comes in the box?
The bassinet with its Safer Sleep tested mattress, a remote control and two mattress protectors.

Is it safe to leave the rocking on all night?
Always place baby on their back on the firm, flat mattress, keep the sleep space clear of loose objects and accessories, and position the bassinet away from blinds, cords or straps. The remote uses a button battery — it meets the Consumer Goods (Button/Coin Batteries) Standard 2020, but keep it well out of reach of children.
